The Hopewell Recreation and Parks Department is devoted to improving overall quality of life by promoting healthy and active lifestyles through a variety of recreational programs, activities, special events, and facilities.  The Recreation and Parks Department manages the Hopewell Community Center and more than 20 parks and athletic sites throughout the City. The Department also publishes its seasonal activity guide available in the summer, fall, and winter. Winter/Spring Activity Guide

Program Registration
Most programs and activities offered require registration.  If a program requires registration, it will be listed with a registration deadline and a registration fee, if applicable.  Registration can be completed at the Hopewell Community Center during normal business hours.  A variety of payment methods are accepted including cash, personal check, and debit/credit cards.  Debit/credit cards will only be accepted for purchases totaling $10 or more.   A completed registration form and payment must be turned in for registration to be completed.

Special Events

Hopewell Recreation and Parks sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year.  Generally, special events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.  Please check out all of our upcoming events below for additional information.
